TAAAC Withdrawal Letter

TAAAC members moving into Unit 2 and AEL should consider whether continuing as a member of TAAAC is in their best interests. It is more than out-of-pocket money for dues. There may be personal reasons for remaining a TAAAC member but TAAAC’s Negotiated Agreement and other protections are no longer applicable. TAAAC cannot legally represent AEL members. Any Unit 2 employee uncertain about the proper direction is encouraged to seek counseling with TAAAC and/or AEL.

It is essential to note that TAAAC requires a personally signed letter for withdrawal from membership. A personal letter is fine. The form letter available here works, too, and is offered as a convenience for AEL members.
